Cardboard comes in several variants depending on the use: single or double corrugated board (up to 7 assembled layers) for structural rigidity, cardboard tube for its fire resistance, honeycomb cardboard — light yet robust, structured like a beehive — for pieces requiring both lightness and strength. Choosing cardboard over wood or plastic has a concrete impact: no trees felled, production that fits within the circular economy, and a clear reduction in end-of-life waste volume. Environmental frugality is no longer a secondary argument: it is a globally recognised priority, notably driven by United Nations environment programmes active for more than 50 years.
